Ken feels grateful that growing up he lived in Africa and in a Canadian Aboriginal community giving him an unshakeable global perspective. His ministry included church planting, district leadership, serving The Lighthouse Church, an International Church in Kuwait and working as MICN’s first Executive Director.

Currently Ken’s roles include serving on the MICN Global Vision Board, the MICN Director of Operations and the President of MICN Canada. Ken and his wife Melanie have three grown children and eight grandchildren who all live in Canada.

Ken (Kenny) DeMaere – Resource Development Coordinator

Ken has been in ministry, as a worship pastor, youth pastor, senior pastor, and district staff for the last 52 years. As well as working as the Resource Development Coordinator, which entails leading a team that is tasked with helping provide resources for the local church to be strong and effective, Ken is presently in his 4th Transitional Pastor role since “retirement”. Ken has a deep love for the Kingdom and the local church that is tasked with carrying the Kingdom to the World. Ken is married to Anna-Dawn and has two married children and two grandsons. He resides in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada.

Tim Beadle 
Resources Team

Tim has served as a pastor and church coach over the past 4 decades. He is co-founder of a rural church pastors’ network and has spent the past season of ministry focused on the development of practical resources in the area of disciple making. He has authored two books and has been a National Church Development (NCD) trainer and conference speaker throughout Canada. He is gifted in the art of creating meaningful resources for those entrusted in leading faith communities. He lives with his wife of 45 years, Heather, in Calgary Alberta. His four children and six grandchildren aren’t too far away!

Jan de Chambrier
Ambassadorial Prayer Team

Jan is an ordained minister who serves with her husband, Philippe, on the leadership team of MICN as Global Prayer Ambassadors and leaders of the APT.

Jan, a former professor of music at Rice University, founded the CHP ministry in Houston-area hospital chapels in addition to serving as a trained lay chaplain at three of those hospitals. She is the author of several books, including Greater Things than These: Practicing What Jesus Preached and Daughtering: Helping Loved Ones Finish Well. She also writes the prayer column for MICN’s weekly newsletter, INCENDIUM.

Jan enjoys speaking and playing the piano at Christian conferences and retreats. She and Philippe make their home in the northwest Houston area, where they are active members of The Crossing Church.

MICN REGIONAL COORDINATORS

MICN´s Regional Structure provides relationship-building with ICs worldwide through personal communication, online gatherings, and the annual Regional Recharge retreat.

Werner Swart
Americas Regional Coordinator

Werner serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Americas. He provides leadership to the other Regional Coordinators and helps ensure strong connection between MICN’s regional networks and the Executive Team. In addition to his MICN responsibilities, Werner pastors United Community Church in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and serves as the South America Regional Coordinator for World Mission Centre.

JOHN CLARK
AFRICA REGIONAL COORDINATOR

John Clark has been living and serving in Africa since 2001.  Originally from Southern California, he and his family spent 22 years in Mali, West Africa where he planted Bamako International Church.  In 2023 John and his wife Julie, relocated to Sousse, Tunisia where he now pastors Sousse International Church.

RANDY McGEHEE
EUROPE REGIONAL COORDINATOR

Randy is an ordained minister and has served in pastoral, evangelistic and missions ministry since 1978. Randy holds his degrees in Ministry from Berean University.   In 2010 he pioneered the Florence International Church in Florence, Italy which has reached into over 120 nations with the Gospel.   In 2023 he began working with MICN.
