The Leadership team work day-in and day-out to move forward MICN's vision of starting and strengthening international churches.

David Fresch
Executive Director

David serves as the Executive Director of the Missional International Church Network as well as Senior Pastor of North Sea Baptist Church, an international church in Stavanger, Norway.

Though born in the USA, he moved overseas at a young age due to his father's work in the oil industry, living in the Netherlands, Norway, Oklahoma, and Texas during his childhood. He attended Houston Baptist University where he met Scottie, his wife, and they are blessed with two children, one who is at university.

David did seminary studies at both Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as well as Fuller Theological Seminary where he completed a Masters in Global Leadership.

In addition to his full-time work for the church and serving MICN, he is the president of Fresch Ministries International, a ministry aimed at empowering leaders and indigenous ministries around the world as well as the CEO of Fresch Investment Initiatives, a company seeking to connect Kingdom-minded investors with Kingdom-impacting businesses around the world.

Ken Driedger
Director of Operations

Ken feels grateful that growing up he lived in Africa and in a Canadian Aboriginal community giving him an unshakeable global perspective. His ministry included church planting, district leadership, serving The Lighthouse Church, an International Church in Kuwait and working as MICN's first Executive Director.

Currently Ken's roles include serving on the MICN Global Vision Board, the MICN Director of Operations and the President of MICN Canada. Ken and his wife Melanie have three grown children and eight grandchildren who all live in Canada.

Werner Swart
Director of Global Regions

Werner serves as the Director of Global Regions and also as the Regional Coordinator for the Americas. He provides leadership to the other Regional Coordinators and helps ensure strong connection between MICN's regional networks and the Executive Team. MICN´s Regional Structure provides relationship-building with ICs worldwide through personal communication, online gatherings, and the annual Regional Recharge retreat. 

In addition to his MICN responsibilities, Werner pastors United Community Church in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and serves as the South America Regional Coordinator for World Mission Centre.

Warren Reeve
Core Values Champion

Warren started the English-speaking international church alongside the flourishing French-speaking Martin Luther King Assemblies of God Church in Paris, France. Currently, he serves as Global Vision Board Chairperson and is devoting more and more time to mentoring IC leaders around the globe.

Dina Dreessen
Implementer

Dina Dreessen serves as the Implementer on the MICN Admin Team. Dina's role with MICN is to make sure the decisions made by the MICN Board and the Admin Team are completed as directed. One of her main functions is to plan the annual Global Gathering.

Dina and her husband Paul currently serve at International Baptist Church in San Jose, Costa Rica. Paul is the Senior Pastor and Dina is the Worship Leader. They have one married daughter and 2 granddaughters who currently reside in Houston, Texas.

Ken (Kenny) DeMaere – Resource Development Coordinator

Ken has been in ministry, as a worship pastor, youth pastor, senior pastor, and district staff for the last 52 years. As well as working as the Resource Development Coordinator, which entails leading a team that is tasked with helping provide resources for the local church to be strong and effective, Ken is presently in his 4th Transitional Pastor role since "retirement". Ken has a deep love for the Kingdom and the local church that is tasked with carrying the Kingdom to the World. Ken is married to Anna-Dawn and has two married children and two grandsons. He resides in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada.

Yolanda Bosma
MICN Administrative Assistant

Yolanda Bosma is the Administrative Assistant for MICN. She oversees correspondence, media, scheduling meetings, finance and a host of other administrative tasks.  Yolanda has an Associate degree in Cross Cultural Ministry. She is married to John and has three grown children and four grandchildren. Yolanda resides in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada.

Jan de Chambrier
Ambassadorial Prayer Team

Jan is an ordained minister who serves with her husband, Philippe, on the leadership team of MICN as Global Prayer Ambassadors and leaders of the APT.

Jan, a former professor of music at Rice University, founded the CHP ministry in Houston-area hospital chapels in addition to serving as a trained lay chaplain at three of those hospitals. She is the author of several books, including Greater Things than These: Practicing What Jesus Preached and Daughtering: Helping Loved Ones Finish Well. She also writes the prayer column for MICN's weekly newsletter, INCENDIUM.

Jan enjoys speaking and playing the piano at Christian conferences and retreats. She and Philippe make their home in the northwest Houston, Texas, USA
